Celebrate the harvest season at Agraria! Join us for a fun-filled community day on the farm featuring fall food and drinks, live music, farm tours, scarecrow making, kids' seed & soil activities, fireside storytelling, and more.
We'll be leading farm tours all day to check out the Jacoby Creek re-meandering and restoration area as well as our research projects and demonstrations
Our kids' activity area will be staffed by Agraria educators and include various games and farm-themed activities for kids. The Dogwood Kids Village will be open all day for youth to explore.
Agraria's Story & Media Artist, Omope Carter Daboiku, will be telling stories around the fire featuring agricultural stories of the Miami River bioregion, seasonal change, the legacy of pioneer agriculturist George Washington Carver, and the health impact of African American heritage crops.
Our Land Team will lead participants in scarecrow-making. The scarecrows will stay at Agraria to help protect our regenerative fields.
In the barn there will be live music, a photo booth, and refreshments to purchase like hot cider, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, farm-fresh vegetables, and hot dogs.
